Built on local charm, made for lasting moments
We’ve been part of the Upper Highway community for years, offering something a little different from the usual café or venue. Tucked away just off Old Main Road, Springside feels calm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. There’s plenty of parking, open space for kids to play, and gardens filled with roses and birdlife.
It was once part of Morewood Farm, which lies in the catchment area for the Molweni River, and still holds that gentle, countryside feeling even though we’re close to town.
Springside is a family-founded business, managed with care by the owner, Shirley. From quiet coffees to life’s biggest milestones, people come to Springside Café for all sorts of reasons. Some stop in for a peaceful breakfast under the trees. Others choose us to host their baby shower, wedding, or 60th birthday. We’ve welcomed gender reveals, engagement parties, memorials, proposals, and conferences.
Every event is handled with care, attention to detail, and the goal of making it as easy and meaningful as possible, a reflection of Shirley’s hands-on approach and dedication to each guest.
